“Come here, little girl; you and I have a few things to discuss.”
Shasta turned to face him with wide eyes. She looked at his face carefully while nibbling on her lower lip. God, she was adorable.
“Daddy… I can explain…”
“Come here, Shasta.” At the stern tone in his voice she sprang toward him and stopped right in front of his chair. “Did you or did you not go dumpster diving at night in a bad neighborhood and find yourself in a dangerous situation?”
“Well, yes, but…”
“There is no ‘but’ involved here, young lady. It will never be acceptable for you to put yourself in harm’s way. I intend to make very sure you remember that in the future.” Gideon reached out and quickly unfastened her jeans before jerking both the jeans and her panties all the way down.
Shasta flushed a becoming shade of red when she realized she was completely bare from the waist down.
“Step out.”
She quickly stepped out of her jeans and underwear so Gideon could reach down and toss them on a nearby chair.
Then he returned his gaze to his very nervous little girl. “Why are we here, Shasta?”
“Ummm… I put myself at risk?” The words were so quiet he wouldn’t have heard them without his wolf hearing.
“What should I do about that?”
“You’re asking me?”
“Shasta…” Warning was implicit in every syllable of her name.
“You should maybe… spank me… oh… Daddeee!” she wailed in alarm when he caught her arm quick as a flash and flipped her face down over his lap.
“Naughty little girls get spanked on their bare bottoms until they remember to be good girls again,” he explained as he began to apply the palm of his hand to her left sit spot. He enjoyed watching the way her rounded flesh flattened and sprang back up blooming with color. He spanked the same spot several times in a row until it was bright red and practically glowing with heat.
Shasta was reflexively kicking her feet as the sting in her left bottom cheek grew. “Ooohhooo! Daddy! Please, Daddy, spank somewhere else!”
Gideon obliged her by slapping his hand down on her right sit spot and working until that lower bottom cheek matched its twin. Once the color of both cheeks was the appropriate scarlet hue, he began peppering her upper thighs.
He spanked back and forth from the tops of each thigh up to each sit spot and back down again. He got into a hard fast rhythm, landing swats on each spot until Shasta was kicking her legs and swimming her arms in an effort to get off of his lap.
Gideon bit back a grin as he lifted her to stand in front of him. She was immediately hopping from foot to foot and wriggling her ass in an effort to alleviate the sting. “Back in the corner, little girl, until I call you for the rest of your punishment. No rubbing!”
