I loved the first book, ‘The Commander’s Mate’, and was so hoping it would turn into a series and I got my wish!! This is a fantastic follow up but stands alone nicely. It has been 20 years since Grayson claimed Izzy as his mate and now their daughter has grown into a young woman. Melody is hoping, now that she is grown, she will get some much desired freedom but learns otherwise when she discovers Liam is her mate. Boy, do the sparks fly between these two and man is this story HOT!! Make sure you have time to read this in one sitting cuz you won’t want to put it down!

I fall in love with first book. And totally hooked on commander’s series. It was everything I hope for and more. I do hope Morgan’s keeps going with these sweet, lovable and humorous family and mates. I have to go back and read about who Jackson is. But have funny feeling Maggie is his mate.
