I loved this book from beginning to end! A very well written contemporary romance with a well defined plot kept me turning the pages! The romance that blooms between Matthew and Beth is so hot and their chemistry is fantastic. My heart hurt for Beth at the beginning of the book but it became obvious the young woman had an indomitable spirit and strength. Matthew is a very compassionate, strong man who proves to be much more than he appears at the beginning of the book. Fantastic!

I am fairly new to Ashe Barker but so far I have loved everything I have read of hers. A homeless young woman, Beth, is taken in by Matt, and over the course of 6 years a relationship develops. Without going into detail as the overview give the details of the novel, the author goes into the emotions and feelings of the characters including the secondary characters. The dialog is wonderful and so real you get caught up in the story. The novel has romance, some violence, danger, mystery, elements of BDSM, hot steamy erotic sex, spanking, anal play and more. I enjoyed this book very much and found it to be an excellent read.
