This book kept me on the edge of my seat negotiating the twists and turns and the danger around every corner. A great story here full of adventure, suspense, strong characters that are wonderful, a despicable villain who’s easy to hate, romance, love and lots of steam but you knew that already, right?

When I found out that Ms. Parks and Ms. Taylor were collaborating on a book together again, I knew it was going to be awesome. Boy, was I right!!
Innocence Enslaved takes the reader to the land of Lancore. The evil lord Ervin is in control. When poor Emilia gets enslaved she fears that she is going to be sentenced to a life worse than death. Thankfully, Corbet, Lancore’s ‘moral compass’ steps in and purchases her. Not agreeing to the ways of Lancore, Corbet vows to return Emilia to her home.
Holy smokes! I’m not normally a fan of medieval stories because they tend to be too dark for me. This story was perfect. It was interesting getting to learn the customs of Lancore, especially the ones about how the men trained for combat. (Shirtless, with the sun beating down on their muscular, tan skin…) This story does have a few dark twists in it, but they aren’t extremely horrible and the ending of the story is very satisfying. 
The characters of this story were all lovable, except for two. The story starts off pretty fast with action. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. Don’t get me started how hot Corbet and Em were together. Those scenes…oh boy.
Ms. Parks and Ms. Taylor outdid themselves with this story. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good, erotic romance tale. I really hope that Ms. Parks and Ms. Taylor decide to write another story together!

OMG, this was awesome. I couldn’t put it down and even though it was quite long for the genre, I read it in one sitting. This author is an auto buy for me, but she has never written a medieval romance and this didn’t disappoint. A gorgeous, sexy dominant hero, who really rescues the fair maiden, but in a very different way. She is innocent, but not shy to admit to what she wants, and out of nowhere she shows she’s a badass with a flick of her wrist. Loved that. There is a really evil awful horrible villain that you will love to despise. A compelling plot, lots of action, sword fights, intrigue and trickery, plus lots of steamy romance, really hot sex, kinky sex and spankings. This book has it all and I can’t say enough. Bravo!!!
