I really enjoyed reading this marvelous book with Knights, Lords, Ladies, Kings, which blended history and fiction in a realistic and believable way. This was a fast paced story from beginning and the start of a relationship and how it develops into a mature loving way with loving discipline and beautifully discribed erotic sex.

Ashe Barker is one of the best. Her books are consistently well written with great stories and interesting characters, this one being no different. The erotic scenes in the Laird and the Sassenach are what I really loved but there’s also plenty of discipline, too. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Stormy Night Publications.
