★★★★★ Saskia van Reenen @ Amazon.com “Really enjoyed it” on September 15, 2017
The book in a new series by Sassy Daniels. The story doesn’t have a cliffhanger and has a good rounded ending of this part of the story, but there is a set up for more. Which is a good thing, because I really enjoyed this book.
The author has a very nice style of writing. There is quite a lot of attention to details, but the story flows really well. Caroline is character you can easily relate to, she stands up for her beliefs, but she is also realistic. Andrew is strong, stern, but also loving and kind. I look forward to the next book, because I would love to know what happens next

What a great sci-fi alien romance! This is the first book in the Brides of Taar-Breck series, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the novels. Andrew is a military hero who rescues Caroline from an unimaginable sentence during a trumped-up trial. The characters are vivid, and the plot is exciting, filled with twists and mystery. There is plenty of romance, discipline, and hot sex. I definitely recommend reading this book, and any other book by Sassa Daniels. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an advanced reader copy.
★★★★★ BBC @ Amazon.com “Reading is a Crime” on September 14, 2017
In a story line that is close to the headlines of what is happening to women in some countries – we are asked to consider what would happen if women are not allowed to read. Our heroine is captured, tortured, and convicted of this crime. Would we be that brave? Her condition calls out for a hero and one appears at the critical time. His growing attraction to her and his methods of teaching her what submission she needs to have to live on his planet make this an exciting and heart warming story. This book was sent to me for review by SNP.
